# Delete a submission

> Delete a draft submission and everything pushed under it.

<Note>
  Only a draft can be deleted — once the submission has been submitted to the regulatory authority it can no longer be deleted. The deletion runs in the background: the call returns immediately, and a draft with a large number of payments may take a while to disappear.
